Trakt is powerful and well established — if you want automatic scrobbling and a big third-party app ecosystem, it is genuinely the better tool and we say so on the comparison page. Nextsode is for the other case: when the tracker starts to feel like a spreadsheet and what you actually wanted was a place to talk about a show without getting spoiled.
There is no Trakt importer yet — today you can bring your history in from TV Time, Netflix, Letterboxd or a Nextsode file. We'd rather say that here than have you find out after signing up.
